Lavender Shortbread
1 cup butter 2 cups flour cup confectioner's sugar 1-2 Tablespoons lavender
Put the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. Cut the butter up on a cutting board, and then mix in with a pasty cutter or a sturdy fork. Mix in the lavender. Pat into an ungreased 9x9 pan. Pierce with a fork every inch or so. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until just starting to look brown at edges. Let cool in pan about 5 minutes, then flip onto cutting board and cut while still warm.
