Lavender Chocolate Truffles
4 ounces dark chocolate 2 Tablespoons butter 1/2 cup heavy cream 1-2 Tablespoons lavender extract
Coating: either unsweetened cocoa powder, or dip in more melted chocolate.
Melt butter and chocolate in microwave, 25 seconds, 25 seconds, stir, another 25 seconds, stir, stir in cream, 25 seconds. Stir in extract. Stir entire mess until smooth. Put in freezer.
Once solid, form into small balls and either roll in cocoa or dip in melted chocolate, place on waxed paper, quickly place a pinch of lavender on top, replace in freezer.
