Lavender Bottles

Lavender Bottles
Lavender Bottles are an old English Tradition made with the stems of the lavender bent back over the flowers to 'cage' the flowers. They are made only when the lavender is fresh, with peak production towards the end of June and into July. Kept in a drawer or linen closet, the Lavender Bottles will retain their scent for ten years or more. Exposed to heat and sun the fragrance will fade but can be revived with a few drops of essential oil. Lavender Bottles are also known as Parasols and Wands.

Lavender Bottles, approximately 8-10 inches long. Made with 30 stems of English Lavender.

Ribbon Lavender Bottles, approximately 8-10 inches long. Made with 22-30 stems of English Lavender. A ribbon is woven tightly through the stems two to three days after the stems are bent. Ribbon color varies and we are happy to make custom orders. You must request them at the time the lavender is available!
