My love affair with lavender started when I was young, lavender soap from Crabtree & Evelyn, then a visit to Caprilands Herb Farm in Coventry Connecticut. There I got to see the herb gardens and was introduced to the idea of growing herbs. It was at Pickety Place herb farm in Mason New Hampshire where I first met the concept of cooking with herbs.
I have a variety of recipes available for cooking with lavender and please stay tuned for the 7th Annual Lavender Festival held at my home in Windsor, CT, June 28th 2008.
